Ploosh Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how DysnomiaAI Inc. (“DysnomiaAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use the Ploosh mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we may receive:
- Your email address
- An authentication identifier
- Your Ploosh display name
- Your internal Ploosh user ID
- Account status, subscription status, badges, and profile settings
Apple and Google process authentication information under their own privacy policies.
Submitted Photos and Generated Content
Photos submitted through Ploosh are uploaded to our systems for validation, moderation, processing, and content generation.
Submitted photos may be retained indefinitely and used to operate, maintain, evaluate, develop, and improve Ploosh and related services.
Generated plushie images and related information may be retained permanently as part of Ploosh’s collection, ownership, discovery, and trading systems.
Profile and Activity Information
We collect information relating to your use of Ploosh, including:
- Plushie collections
- Likes and follows
- Trade offers and completed trades
- Plushie ownership and creator history
- Coin balances, rewards, and purchases
- Badges, ranks, and profile customization
- Account creation date and public profile statistics
Ploosh profiles and collections are public. Other users may view your display name, profile customization, collection, ownership history, badges, ranks, and certain activity information.
Usage and Technical Information
We and our service providers may collect:
- App interactions and feature usage
- App version and operating-system information
- Error, diagnostic, and performance information
- IP addresses
- Security and fraud-prevention information
- Advertising identifiers and consent signals, where available
- Dates and times of activity
We use PostHog to collect basic product-usage analytics.
Ploosh does not request precise device location. Approximate location may be inferred from an IP address by us or our service providers.
Notifications
Ploosh uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications. This requires a device or application installation identifier, commonly called a notification token.
Advertising
Ploosh may display advertising through Google AdMob.
Google and its advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, IP addresses, device information, app interactions, and consent choices to deliver, measure, limit, and personalize advertising where permitted.
Advertising practices may vary according to your location, device settings, and available consent controls.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google.
We receive information necessary to verify purchases, grant coins or subscription benefits, prevent fraud, and manage entitlements. We do not receive your complete payment-card information.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage accounts
- Process scans and generate plushies
- Operate collections, profiles, likes, follows, trades, and ownership records
- Process purchases, subscriptions, rewards, and advertising-based benefits
- Deliver notifications
- Moderate content and enforce platform rules
- Detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats
- Diagnose errors and improve performance
- Analyze how Ploosh is used
- Develop, test, maintain, and improve Ploosh and related services
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
Where applicable, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate business and security interests, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent.
3. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information:
- To service providers that perform hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, advertising, notifications, payments, moderation, security, or content-processing services on our behalf
- To Apple or Google in connection with authentication, purchases, subscriptions, app distribution, and platform requirements
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request
- When reasonably necessary to protect users, DysnomiaAI, or the public from fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of our business
- At your direction or with your consent
We do not sell submitted photos or generated plushie content to third parties for their independent use.
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain personalized-advertising activities may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where required, applicable consent or opt-out controls will be provided.
Apple and Google may separately display information about Ploosh’s data practices in their store privacy disclosures.
4. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Operate and improve Ploosh
- Maintain collection, creator, ownership, and transaction history
- Protect the service from fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce our agreements
- Meet legal and accounting obligations
Submitted photos may be retained indefinitely. Generated plushie images and associated platform records may be retained permanently.
Information may remain temporarily in backups and system logs until removed through ordinary retention and backup processes.
5. Account Deletion
You may delete your account through the Ploosh application.
When an account is deleted, information that directly identifies the account holder will be deleted, anonymized, or disassociated from the account, subject to reasonable legal, security, fraud-prevention, and technical requirements.
Certain content and records may remain after account deletion where necessary to preserve the operation and integrity of Ploosh. This may include:
- Generated plushie content
- Creator and ownership history
- Completed trade and transaction records
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics
- Fraud-prevention and security records
- Records required by law
Where reasonably possible, retained information will no longer be associated with information that directly identifies the deleted account holder.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request:
- Access to personal information we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate personal information
- Deletion of personal information
- Restriction of or objection to certain processing
- A portable copy of certain personal information
- Withdrawal of consent
- An appeal of a decision concerning a privacy request
These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. Requests may be submitted to contact@dysnomia.ai.
You may control certain advertising choices through in-app consent controls, device settings, Apple settings, or Google settings.
7. International Processing
DysnomiaAI is based in the United States, and Ploosh’s primary database infrastructure is located in the eastern United States.
Information may also be processed in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live.
8. Users Under 16
Ploosh is intended only for users aged 16 or older.
We do not knowingly allow users under 16 to create accounts. If we learn that a user is under 16, we may suspend or delete the account and associated identifying information.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or loss.
No system for storing or transmitting information can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Ploosh and our data practices change.
The current version and effective date will be displayed at the top of this policy. Material changes may also be communicated through Ploosh or by another reasonable method.
